Things to Do in Christchurch

For sightseeing in the city, it is very easy to take the city bus from our gate into the centre. In Cathedral Square in the city centre you’ll find the i-SITE Visitors Centre and from there you can book any other tours you may wish to take.
Local sightseeing activities include:
- Antarctic Centre (situated close to the airport)
- Willowbank Wildlife Reserve (10 minutes’ drive) where you can see a traditional maori dance and the little kiwi bird
- Jet Boat Thrills on the Waimakariri River (15 minutes’ drive)
For the Golf Enthusiasts:
We are very close to Harewood Golf Club and Clearwater Resort (two very famous golf courses in New Zealand).
For the Ski Enthusiasts:
We are just two minutes from Yaldhurst Road, which takes you directly to to the main West Coast Road and directly to Mount Hutt. There is a door-to-door shuttle that will do pick-ups.
